The bipolar cervicocapital head consists of 3 parts: outer shell: stainless steel (ISO 5832-1), insert: PE (ISO 5834-2), collar: PE (ISO 5834-2). The characteristics of the product: the bipolar cervicocapital head is available in series of sizes with 2 mm intervals, good wear resistant surface which reduces the friction to a minimum, the optimal neck length can be reached with the proper choice of the head (diameter 26 mm)

Acatabular Support

Acetabular support is made to reduce the risk of posterior dislocation, by fixing it to the front of the acetabulum due to keep the head inside the cavity. It is made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylane (ISO 5834-2). Note: for the sake of best fitting the inner diameter of the acetabulum and the support has to be the same. It can be fixed with cortical screws (?2,7) wich are procured by the Customer.

The instrument set is completed with the acetabulum strike-in tool and acetabular-insert lifter. The resized acetabular milling heads and trial acetabulums – compared with the cemented ones – can be used for forming and determining the accurate size and shape of the accomodating cavity of the „press-fit” acetabulums.
