Using the SE-4000: Place the cuff on the left upper arm. The cuff should not be too tight nor too loose. Turn the unit on by pressing button Power. Check the level of pressure settings by pressing the button Pressure. This level has to be ca. 40 mmHg higher than your expected systolic blood pressure (higher level). Start the measurement by pressing button Start. Complete the measurement in a relaxed state, don't talk during the measurement arm and body has to be still.
