MEDIMON Engineering Service and Trade Ltd was founded in 1991. Its founders had several years' experience in the field of medical imaging and health informatics. Our aim was to create filmless radiology. The big boom in the life of our firm was in 1994. We won an OMFB and Industrial Ministry's export development application. Beside selling on the domestic market, in 1994-95 we appeared in Germany, Austria, Finland and the former Soviet Union. Since 1996 we have been selling our products to the United States and Brasil. We are one of the suppliers of the well known General Electric, SIEMENS and TOSHIBA. Our developing strategy is established by continous measurement of their needs. In 1995 we won a tender- together with Medicor- and a result of this we shipped our products to 13 different places. We focus on organizing, planning, coordinating and producing complex radiology projects. As a result of these great projects multimillion image archives were built and their medical and scientific value led to a quality leap in diagnosing. The domestic and foreign market of our up-to-date and user-friendly products are getting larger. This reason motivated us to make presentations on this subject within the MEDING (Medical Technology Association). MEDIMON takes every opportunities from the development of informatics and electronics to the production process of our own products to satisfy our clients at the possibly highest level. Quality assurance system MEDIMON Ltd. has established and applies a quality system EN ISO 9001 since 1999 for Medical picture archiving and communication system, developing, manufacturing and supplying. Medimon has been producing and developing its CE signed products according to the 2. Appendix of the 93/42 EEC directives. We participate in IHE from 2002. In 2005 we have received EN ISO 9001:2000 and EN ISO 13485:2003 qualification when ORKI (National Institute for Hospital and Medical Engineering) audited us.
