Mr Istvan Antal and Mr Istvan Stefan (founders of Medimetal Ltd) were the pioneers of development and manufacturing of trauma implants and instruments in Hungary in 1971. They are dedicated to improving traumatology in Hungary and have continuously invested to expand the product range through development and innovation since the 1970’s. Medimetal Ltd has been in operation in its current form since 1993. We utilize the latest Cad CAM systems which enables rapid development of new ideas with our clinical partners Our state of the art manufacturing facility uses the latest technology form TORNOS and STAR, DGM work centers, Monnier-Zahner thread milling machines. We are a-lined to EN ISO 13485:2003. Our auditing partner is TUV Rheinland Product Safety GmbH and all out products meet the requirements of the 93/94 EEC Medical Devices. We use the highest quality steel and titanium alloys. Only materials from leading suppliers (ZAPP/Sanvik) which have guaranteed quality and certification are used. Implant testing is carried out in accredited laboratories (Fx Endolab GmbH). We employ 100% inspection of finished product. We have 40 years of experience in developing and manufacturing and have a wide range of products which not only benefits our local market but also our export partners, who benefit form our expertise.
